I'm impressed. Back in the day, a camcorder could not have been small and discreet. Kudos to you for getting something like that in and filming the show.
Thanks for sharing it’s awesome but for one of the best concerts in rock history footage is so rare 🙂↕️
What is it with Jake at his best whatever he plays sounds like it has teeth and claws ABSOLUTELY second to none ❤️😊🤟
I was there, not sure why Motorhead are in this footage because they weren't.
Brian always comes across a such a nice, down-to-earth guy………..
Bloke is a Legend ! Reminds me of me LoL A Grafter xx 💕
Just an Ace fella ! AcDc should have looked after him a bit better xxx 💕
I was there!
I have this on a VHS somewhere. Recorded it myself when it aired. Long, long time ago.
Geordie were quite a good band. Im pretty sure they were on the EMI label.
Slade,blew everyone away.
Love ARTIE
I really enjoyed this interview ❤
Angus has climbed alot of stages
Slade stole the show they were the best as usual there was no band in the world that was better live.
Angus saying " you get free beer" is a comment that went over everyone's head.... he doesn't drink 😂
I was there at 17, Motorhead were not
God that's still the best! 🤘 😂
I come back to watch this every now and then, makes me kinda sad to see just how far Artie fell in a relatively short amount of time ... At least he's still alive I guess. Top 5 moment in show history for me though!
R.I.P.Lemmy,Philty and Fast Eddie🤘🎸🤘
Brian had a very unique look an attractive man
Bad news played
Ah the bottle fights
Motorhead 10:20
What a nice fella. Brilliant
I'm the guy in the video
Good show...shit long time ago..still
We were around the back trying to get backstage, when up walks Ozzy in his cape (remember that) and on his own,so he stopped had a chat with us,we told him we loved him,and we were delighted!
Que hermoso que era Fish
As much as i love AC/DC and Brian Johnson, i gotta mention that the late great Dan McCafferty sounded exactly as he did in the 70's, his gruff voice was natural and he should've been welcomed in to replace Brian for that short time...Dan is dead now RIP
I like how AC/DC picked members that were not full of shit like American rock bands
I am eating boiled squid with an old man. He says his name is Harold. I met him online. He is here now. Do you want a word?
Fire!!!!!!!!!Thanks for sharing!
3:20 looks like we have someone else to thank for Brian in acdc
I feel sorry for the folks that have only heard Garro's blues stage. I know so many that have never heard either Lizzy or his earlier solo stuff. How much great music they're missing
Brian is very Down To Earth Guy Brilliant Singer.
James Whale Radio Presenter, Lent Him The 💰 Money To Go To London To Try Out For ACDC The Story Is In James Whale's Autobiography Book Almost A Celebrity
I watched this video last night when I was entertaining with My dad and my God father after listening to the new rolling stones album in full they went to there 1st donington in 1985 watching this footage from.1984 reminded them of 85 and 86 the story's and there memories was nice to hear wish I was around then
Think I went that one,ZZ TOP headlined, fantastic and the weather was beautiful, ask your Dad if he remembers about 15 lads jumping over the fence on the hill behind the stage, security caught one of my mates, but another one of us,swept the Security guys feet from under him,and the crowd cheered like we'd scored a goal at Wembley! 😂😂😂 great times!
Sterns a hack
Fantastic interview, just so relaxed, two blokes having a drink and a chat. Brian's so down to earth,no airs and graces, just a regular bloke, super friendly, sort of man who makes you feel like you've been mates for years. Too many of today's stars are up their own arses, here's a man whose in one of the biggest bands in the world yet he's just a regular bloke who always has time for his fans. Best replacement singer in the history of rock
Artie could not have done this in his heroine days. He would have nodded out half way through singing.
80s ❤
STRIKE. Worth it, punk?
Heads
Saw them perform in '79l at Oakland, CA..... Day on the Green. At one point Angus started running around the upper stadium levels still playing his guitar, and then..... he turned around and mooned the entire crowd! So cool!
Too bad no camera close up😏
Too bad the video couldn't have been enhanced and updated to see better.
Who on guitar
Jake E.Lee
He couldn't get closer?😀
40 years later he gets to perform infront of the Gallowgate end with Sam Fender. Great rock venue bonny lad.
